Breakup Blog – Week 7

Is your cup running on empty?

Hey beauty queen!

So good to see you again 💕

I would seriously love for you to send me some feedback on how my blog so far is serving you and if you are finding it beneficial, you can send me your feedback via bekshealthyjourney@outlook.com

Have you ever just stumbled and stuttered when someone has asked you “So what do you like to do in your spare time?” Well you are not alone! Generally when you settle down with someone you quiet literally “settle down” and become house hermits, you go to work & come home and on the weekends try and avoid social outings because you both love each others company therefore you abandon the things that fill up your cup, the things that light your soul up and make your heart sing.

This week we are going to get that “Self Love” cup of yours overflowing with abundance by doing the things you love from your Joy Menu, if you are like me, when you first hear the words “Joy Menu” you instantly think of food. Well sis this Joy Menu is essentially in short a menu of things that you like to do Daily, weekly, monthly & annually that light up your soul and can pull you out of the most low of low funks.

I would love for you to grab your journal and start journaling all of the things that make you feel happy.

Some of the things on my joy menu are:

-Movie dates
-Friend catch ups
-Seeing my family
-Journaling
-Meditation
-Gratitude’s
-Beach
-Tanning by the pool
-Brunch
-Sex
-Netflix
-Traveling
-Festivals
-Makeup
-Dressing up
-Window shopping
-Eating dinner at a fancy restaurant
-Massage

Take your time with your list and continue to add to it as more things pop into your mind, bigger isn’t always better but in this case, the bigger the list the better 😉

Now that you have written out your Joy Menu, I want you to categorise each item into “Daily, weekly, monthly & Annually” activities to do, so for example:

DAILY:
-Journaling
-Meditation
-Gratitude’s
-Beach (I live across the road from the beach)

WEEKLY:
-Friend catch ups
-Seeing my family
-Tanning by the pool
-Brunch
-Sex
-Netflix
-Brunch

MONTHLY:
-Movie dates
-Makeup
-Dressing up
-Window shopping
-Eating dinner at a fancy restaurant
-Massage

ANNUALY:
-Traveling
-Festivals

Now that you have categorised these activities I want you to schedule them into your calendar and or diary (whatever you prefer to use), so the items that you can do daily you need to schedule into your diary to do daily. The same goes for the weekly activities, make sure you schedule these into your week (if you can’t afford to do all of the activities or are stretching your time thin, choose one or two items each day/ week and switch up each week doing different activities. Now do the same for monthly activities and annual activities.

Now that these bad boys are scheduled in, it is your responsibility to follow through with them and ensure you are loving yourself and respecting yourself enough to commit to these activities and practice them in order to ensure your cup is full.

Side note: If you are having a down day or a down week, make sure you revisit your Joy Menu, chose a few things to do and disconnect from the world whilst you carry out these feel good activities.

I would be so grateful for you to share your Joy Menu with me, feel free to email me the items that light you up and make your soul sing.

Until next week sugar!
In gratitude & light
Bek
xx
